Robert J. Felton has dedicated a lifetime of
service to the Titusville community, contributing in meaningful and
lasting ways to its growth, stability, and quality of life.
In
his professional career as an attorney, Bob has served the public in
the roles of City Solicitor and County Assistant District Attorney,
offering his expertise in support of local government and the legal
system.
Beyond his professional work,
Bob’s volunteerism spans decades and touches nearly every corner of the
community. He has served on numerous boards, including Woodlawn
Cemetery, Crawford Heritage Foundation, Titusville Area Hospital, and
the Alumni Association. His long-standing commitment to the Titusville
YMCA—where he served for 25 years, including as Board President—and to
Titusville Leisure Services, where he also served more than 25 years as
Chairman, reflects his deep investment in community wellness and
recreation.
Bob has also dedicated
his time to mentoring and supporting youth through coaching basketball,
soccer, and baseball, assisting with YMCA 3x3 tournaments, and
contributing to the Hershey Track & Field program. His passion for
education and service extends to hosting adult education programs on
wills and trusts, as well as volunteering with organizations such as the
Friends of Drake Well, where he served nine years on the Board of
Directors and continues on the Advisory Board.
A
committed member of several service organizations—including the
Jaycees, Titusville Rotary, and Knights of Columbus—Bob has also served
on the Parish Council Finance Committee, as a Eucharistic minister, and
as a Pre-Cana instructor at St. Titus Church. He has further supported
community events such as the Oil Creek 100 Trail Races.
Through
his professional leadership and extensive volunteer service, Bob has
made a profound and lasting impact on Titusville. His dedication,
humility, and commitment to others exemplify the very spirit of
community, making him a truly deserving recipient of this honor.
